Welcome to “LeopoldoDiaz.com, A Family Legacy.” Please excuse my Spanish, I know enough to be dangerous. I hope you will enjoy this site and help me improve the pages of each of the children of Leopoldo and Concepcion Diaz.
There has been a lot of spam so far, so I am going to try restricting access through membership. If it doesn’t seem to be helpful, I will remove the restriction and take my chances.
I really hope you will participate by sending me stories and photos to add to your family pages. I also hope you will join www.familysearch.org and build your family trees and fill in the gaps about your parents, siblings, cousins, and yourself. If you will register and complete your personal profile, you will help everyone know where you come from.
Huge thanks to my Uncle Manuel Diaz who created a family history that is the starting point for the whole project. Thanks to my Aunt Irene Carrillo, who for many years promoted family reunions and brought scrapbooks of family photos and documents. And thanks to my Brother Mark Diaz who gave me his copy of Manuel’s book when I couldn’t find mine.
I now have Manuel’s book in digital format if anyone would like a copy. This website is a subscription service that paid for the first year. If you would like to contribute to keeping this site online, let me know.
